										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hathor was also called Gator, which meant the highest house (mountain), that is, Heaven. The temple was built of sandstone and surrounded by a brick wall. In the middle there is the largest hypostyle hall, it has more than 20 columns with images of Gator. Astronomical scenes are shown on the ceiling, and a couple of Osiris shrines are located on the roof. Osiris is the god of rebirth and the other world who was called Duat. In one of his sanctuaries, a solar disk (Aten) and a zodiac were found.</p>
<p>The round Dendera zodiac is a bas-relief from the ceiling of the sanctuary of Osiris. On it you can see the images of two signs, Taurus and Libra. Overall, the zodiac of Osiris is the only detailed depiction of the ancient sky. It was he who served as the basis on which modern astronomical systems were later developed.</p>

<p>Dendera is the center of the cult of the goddess Hathor. Her temple was built during the reign of the last Ptolemies and has been well preserved to this day.<br />
Under the temple are buildings from previous eras, some of which are as old as the pyramids.</p>
<p>The temple complex of Dendera contains a large hall with 24 columns, each of which depicts the goddess Gator (Heaven). After the conquest of Egypt, Alexander the Great decided to build a new capital, named after him. Over time, maritime trade developed strongly and it was decided to build a large lighthouse here.
