<p>Day tour to Luxor from Marsa Alam. For half a millennium, the Valley of the Kings in Luxor was used for the burial of pharaohs.</p>
<p>If you have never been to Luxor, then we advise you to choose this option of travel. It`s the most complete of all. In addition to the standard list of places such as the Colossi of Mnemon, the Hashepshut Temple, the Valley of the Queens, you will see another important landmark, the Valley of the Kings. This is a place where for 500 years tombs were dug in the rock to bury the pharaohs of the 18th-20th dynasty and all the most important people. At this moment, 63 tombs have been found in the valley (from small rooms to huge complexes with 120 rooms). You can visit three of them. The walls of the tombs of the pharaohs are decorated with scenes from Egyptian mythology. These images provide the key to unraveling the faith and funeral rites of the time.</p>

<p>Excursion Dendera and Luxor is an opportunity to visit the important historical temples in one day. Free transfer, inshurance, no prepayment.</p>
<p>By choosing this excursion, you will visit two historical cities of Luxor and Dendera, the latter famous for its Temple complex, which was built of sandstone. Inside is a huge Hypostyle Hall with 24 columns crowned with images of the goddess of love and heaven, Hathor. Astronomical scenes are depicted on the ceiling, and on the walls &#8211; a description of the royal visit to the temple. On the roof of the temple there were several small sanctuaries of Osiris, it was there that the unique zodiac and solar disc were discovered. The temple is also famous for the interesting Dendera lamp bas-reliefs.</p>
<p>You will also have the opportunity to visit the city of Luxor, <span class="VIiyi" lang="en"><span class="JLqJ4b ChMk0b" data-language-for-alternatives="en" data-language-to-translate-into="uk" data-phrase-index="0">ride a boat</span></span> on the Nile River, which divides the city into 2 parts. Their names are very symbolic. In the east is the &#8220;City of the Living&#8221;, where the pharaohs lived and erected their temples.
