Excursion to the Reserve of Sharm el-Naga, from Hurghada.
Sharm el-Naga is the most wonderful reserve, it is located further along the coast, a couple of hours drive from Hurghada. Due to its natural qualities and the diversity of the underwater world, this area is protected as a Reserve area.
The water in the bay is crystal clear and sparkles with small sparks in the sun. Right next to the shore is a huge coral reef. You don’t need to swim for a long time, just a few meters of gentle approach separate you from this fairy tale. It’s better to enter in aquashoes or flippers (you can rent on the beach), as the first inhabitants you will meet are sea urchins. Soon the reef begins and you will be able to dive and see in detail all the versatility of corals and underwater inhabitants. There are many unusual fish found here, like long and thin needles (Krasnomorsky tilozur), to large thick Napoleon fish. You can see rainbow-colored parrotfish, sharp-tailed surgeonfish, Picasso fish that look like they stepped out of his paintings, and even large turtles. Be careful don’t touch corals or fish by your hands, they can be dangerous!
By visiting the excursion “Sharm el-Naga + bathyscaphe” you can see the corals both independently snorkeling (swimming with a mask), and through the large viewing glasses of the bathyscaphe. The Royal Sea Scope dives deeper than you can do on your own, so you’ll be able to see more. This tour is also great for families with small children. There will be no need to constantly be distracted and check what the children are doing, because they will be completely safe on the bathyscaphe!
