One of the historical and architectural wonders that you must visit is the ancient treasury building, carved directly into the stone rock.
The excursion will take place on the territory of modern Jordan. On a comfortable bus you will travel to the port of Taba to go through the first customs and passport control. Then by ferry to the port of Jordan, where there will be a second control and boarding a bus to Petra. The road will pass near a beautiful gorge.
To get to the city, you will need to go through the Siq gorge (bring comfortable shoes and sun protection, the journey will take about half an hour, or you can rent a horse).
Next, visit the palace – Al-Khazneh. According to ancient legend, the pharaoh who persecuted Moses created this temple with the help of magic, and hid his treasures in the highest urn. That is why this temple is called the treasury. The Bedouins who believed this story constantly shot at the top vase to make coins fall out. But this is only one of the options, and the vase turned out to be solid. Although if you look at the temple itself, you still can’t believe how it could have been created without modern tools. The history of the creation of the temple remains a mystery and amazes with its grandeur and beauty.
